Have Had No Time!

I have been crazy busy with so many different things, I don't know where to start. That said, I have a few blog topics to write, so I will soon! Not sure how I am going to finish the new screenplay, send out my novel, look for a new agent, write the shorts I have due, write a Rom Com, write on ALL my blogs, do my day (24/7) job, and not go crazy, but I like a challenge!

THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE HOME!

THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE HOME! THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE HOME! THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE HOME! THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE HOME! THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE HOME! If I wear these red Jimmy Choos and click my heels 3x while repeating the above phrase, will I wake up in New York? THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE HOME! THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE HOME! THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE HOME! THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE HOME! Well if I can't be in New York right now, I will settle for these Choos! I am just sayin'! THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE HOME! THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE HOME! THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE HOME! THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE HOME!

I'm In A New York State of Mind!

New York City is my first TRUE LOVE. There will never be another that I love in the same way. You remember your first love? No matter how much it hurt when you broke up, you still have that special place in your heart for that person? Even through all the bad things that happen like being verbally or physically abused: "Hey F you! I got yer abuse right here! Get the F out of the street etc. etc."-shoved during a fabulous sample sale, getting soaked in the rain, everything being over priced, no where to park your car, the smell! It's cold, it's wet, it's expensive, but all you remember is how gorgeous it is. The streets lined with silver sparkles on a sunny day, the store windows call you on 5th Ave, Park Ave Apts in all their glory. The three Bs: Bendel's, Bergdorf 's, & Barney's there just for you. Macy's, Blooningdales in true department store fashion. Oh and FASHION-no where else in this country is there any sense of fashion. Central Park on...

It's Groundhog Day!

Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow on this February 2, 2010 and there will be six more weeks of winter for the east coast, midwest and pacific northwest, but for sunny southern California, it makes no difference at all. In fact if Phil was here today, he would not have seen his shadow, just to confirm that our "winter"- fast and loose with the term winter here-is over. In just a few weeks we will be reaching the usual scorching temperatures in the valleys and a cool 70 -80 in the beach cities and somewhere in the middle-somewhere in the middle. It is always sunny here and if it rains for a day or two the whole city nearly shuts down and everyone complains on their; Facebook, MySpace, Plaxo, Blogs, etc. etc. like they will never see the sun again. The only thing about Groundhog Day that we enjoy here is Bill Murray being silly and repeating his day over and over and over. 'Tis Hollywood after all!
